At our school, we know that being in school every day makes a real difference—not just to academic success, but to confidence, friendships and wellbeing.
Our aim is simple: to work in partnership with families to help every child attend regularly and feel happy in school.
Why attendance matters
Good attendance helps students to:
- Keep up with learning and achieve their best
- Build positive relationships with staff and peers
- Feel part of the school community
Even missing a small number of days can make it harder for students to stay on track.
Our expectations
We encourage all students to attend 100% of the time they are able, aim for at least 97% attendance and to arrive on time every day.
If your child is too unwell to attend, we completely understand—otherwise, we expect them to be in school and ready to learn.
If your child is absent
Please let us know as soon as possible, ideally before 07:30, on each day of absence.

If you’re finding attendance difficult, please get in touch early. We can offer:
