We are extremely proud of the determination, hard work and resilience of our sixth form students which has once again resulted in strong outcomes.
Almost half of all grades awarded were A*-B, or equivalents, resulting in significant numbers of students securing the most prestigious post-18 destinations. Overall grade outcomes have improved from 2023 with an average point score increase of +0.92. The average A Level result has risen to C+, an increase compared to 2023 and 2019 (pre-pandemic) outcomes.
Some stand out performances worthy of recognition include Alexander Wilson (A*, A*, A*, A*) reading linguistics at Cambridge University; Amelia Joseph (A*, A*, A, A) reading Aerodynamics at Southampton University; Kiera Exall (A, A, A) who is attending The Guildhall Conservatoire; and Oliver Radd (A, A, A, B) reading History at Durham University.
Students following a vocational route have also excelled with the average grade being a Distinction across all applied courses.
