Sixth Form Open Evening
Manor School extends a warm invitation to Year 11 students from across East Northamptonshire to our Sixth Form Open Evening on Tuesday 8 January.
This summer saw us celebrate some of the strongest A Level and BTEC results in our history, with impressive changes in some of the traditionally more challenging subjects such as the sciences. This has resulted in the majority of this year’s leavers securing their first-choice place at some of the most prestigious universities in the country, including Cambridge and the University of Nottingham.
We offer an extensive curriculum with a wide range of courses to suit the learning needs of students of all abilities. Smaller class sizes enable teachers to get to know each student as an individual, working with them to enhance their strengths and improve their weaknesses. Subject lessons may take place in the auditorium, professional kitchen or 3G pitch, with students also having access to several computer suites, the on-site fitness centre and Learning Resource Centre. Our subject provision is underpinned by extensive information, advice and guidance coupled with a wide range of enrichment and community opportunities for all students. When students reach the end of their studies they leave the school as passionate, confident and resilient adults, fully prepared to face the next stage of their academic or professional journey.
The Sixth Form Open Evening will enable prospective students to find out more about the courses on offer, speak with subject teachers and current students, and discover how we can provide the educational and personal development opportunities they need for a successful future.
