The Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (CoPE) is a nationally recognised qualification from the ASDAN stable of qualifications. It offers imaginative ways of accrediting young people’s skills through activities and challenges. These CoPE challenges allow students to develop a wide range of personal qualities, abilities and achievements such as presentation skills, working with others, improving learning techniques, researching information and problem solving. The CoPE qualification can be completed at Level 1 or Level 2 and in previous years has included organising events such as the Macmillan Coffee Morning and a Christmas Party for the elderly community. The Key Stage 4 CoPE group also take part in activities to support the International Schools Award.
